My 'To Do List' Progress

Slowly making headway on my to do list.  Work seems to be getting in the way.  I got off one hour early last night (10pm) and one hour early tonight (8:30pm), so I was able to get the entrance hall, the breakfast room, the extra living room and the downstairs bathroom cleaned up and photographed.  I also photographed the doors to Bill's office.  No one gets to see that disaster.

But other things keep taking longer than expected.  This morning I had my doctor office visit to get my tetanus shot and my hepatitis A & B shots.  All I needed to do was see the nurse for three shots, but it took them almost 45 minutes to get me out of the waiting room.  Then I had to race over to my hairdresser's for a highlighting and cut and blow dry that took over two hours.

At first I had planned on going to the bank to collect my mega cash between the doctor and the hairdresser, but that didn't happen.  Then I planned on going to the bank after the hairdresser visit, but that didn't happen either.  By the time I got out of the beauty salon, it was 12:15pm and I had to be at work at 1:30pm one hour away.  So, I had to zip home, let the puppies out into the back yard (with many protests), run upstairs to change my clothes, let the puppies back in the house (with even more protests from Goofy who had to get back in his cage), run over to McDonald's to pick up some lunch and dinner and then speed away to work.  I got there with five minutes to spare.

So, here's my to do list for tomorrow:

1.  Get mega cash from the bank.
2.  Drive downtown to sign paperwork for a $1500 state subsidy that must be completed before I leave on Sunday (I truly hope the agency gave them all the correct paperwork this time).
3.  Pick up my newly repaired black dress shoes.
4.  Wash clothes.
5.  Straighten up living room, kitchen, master bedroom and master bath.
6.  Photograph living room, kitchen, master bedroom and master bath.
7.  Photograph front yard, garage and back yard.
8.  Download photographs to Walgreens to be developed and picked up that day.
9.  Make Bill a list of websites, email addresses, passwords, etc that he may need while I'm gone.
10.  Get my eyebrows waxed and get a pedicure.
11.  Get a massage.
12.  Pack Y's bag.
13.  Pack my bag.
14.  Walk the puppies.
15.  Take a nap.

Not Enough Time

What was I thinking scheduling myself to work right up until the last day?  Am I nuts or something?  I only have one more full day off (unless I get that "I just can't see myself coming to work today" disease) before I depart next Sunday morning.

Things still to do:

1.  Finish cleaning up my office so that we can swap my office (which is the 2nd biggest bedroom) with Y's room and then take pictures of both.

2.  Clean the rest of the house so I can take pictures of each room.

3.  Get said pictures developed and put in a little brag book.

4.  Return items to at least 4 different stores to either save money or exchange items for something else that I actually need right now.

5.  Go to the dentist Monday morning.

6.  Take Nala Bear to the veterinarian on Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon for her last two Adepan (sp?) shots in her hips.

7.  Buy Y a package of undies that fits (the package I have is too small, and opened, so I can't return it - guess I'll just donate it to the internat), and another pair of sneakers.

8.  File an extension to prepare my tax return.

9.  Pack; unpack; rearrange; pack again; unpack again; rearrange again; repack for the last time.

10.  Go to the bank and get my cashola out; take several hours to find the new bills; go to several other bank branches to trade my less than perfect bills for their perfect bills.

11.  Prepare a list of websites, passwords, account numbers, and other important information for Bill to make sure everything is handled while I'm gone.  (Maybe I can pawn some of this stuff off on him permanently, ya think?)

12.  Get more dog and cat food to hopefully last the entire trip.

13.  Talk to Dr. Don about waving any potential 'emergency' vet fees until I return.

14.  Grocery shop.

15.  I think that's it.  Maybe I need two "I can't see coming into work days."
